Agenda
SNARS – keep updated
every other week. This allows Rob Way to
keep an eye on county budget throughout the year. A couple clubs had to be prompted to fill it
in SNARS last year. One club didn’t
submit anything, and didn’t receive any money.
Supplemental is rumored to be 100%
Winneconne – Did anyone
check on belting?
Groomer contracts – These
were at the meeting. For those that groom and those that have funded trails. Some errors were found and all contracts were
given back to Mike Giese to get revised.
The Sno Pioneers had a
route change. Route will be changing
back to the original route through the woods.
Map Update -Open discussion
Green Lake, and Waushara County
will have a holiday deer hunt. December
24th to January 1st.
Duane Luker provided a
summary of citations and warnings written by the county snow patrol. Hilltop road by the rec trail was a popular
spot. On the lake during fisherees is a
popular patrol. We can ask the patrol
captain to patrol Winneconne when the trails are open.
Someone asked Duane if anything
be done about unleashed dogs on the Wiowash trail? Duane said the Sheriff’s Department receives
about 100 anonymous complaints a day, so don’t hesitate to call.
The county trail map should
say no ATV’s on trails in a box somewhere.
It was suggested the alliance order some no ATV signs for clubs to get if
needed. Jason asked the clubs to check
there no ATV sign inventory.
Paul Kuehnl from the Wolff’s
pack spoke about their Fox Valley Winter Expo on January 4th. This year they will feature Vintage sleds,
atv’s and groomer rides.
Debbie Beyer made motion
to adjourn. Seconded by Dave Conklin. Meeting was adjourned at 8:50 pm.
Next meeting is November 26, 2019.
