Treasurer’s Report
Please come to our meetings to see a copy of the Treasurer’s Report.
Director’s Report
Mike Giese was absent. President Jason Ollanketo read notes from Mike. There will be a board meeting to the AWSC membership term changes so it can be voted on in March. Seven Lakes Trail issue was a win for the motorized groups. There will be immediate allowance per the Master Plan.
Trail and Grooming Report
All clubs have their trails signed for the most part. There has been progress GPS’ing the trails. Some sections still need to be GPS’ed. Remember trails are open by Zone so call Mike Giese with updates and he will contact Rob Way and Jason O.
Old Business
Maps – Map printing company couldn’t open any of the GPS file formats. Jason is working with them on the issue.
The Wolf Pack’s Snowmobile & ATV Safety Class had 8 snow and 10 ATV students. Drifters Snowmobile Safety Class had 8 students. WATVA is working on legislation changes to mimic the snowmobile’s Safety Class online age limit.
Warriors Ride – Sno-Pioneers donated $1,420 after a fundraiser during their Christmas party on Tuesday.
Langlade County Bridge issue – it was reported that over 300 showed up at the council meeting. The lack of space nearly canceled the meeting. There was plenty of support – no objections to continuing with the project’s approval process.
New Business
Liberty Mutual Insurance Representative to be at next meeting. Website Updates – new Poyganaires membership.
Watched a video of the Winneconne bridge pilons being blown up.
AWSC nominations – Mike Giese for Director, Mark Bombinski for representative (accepted).
Winter Expo – space is still available to promote club (approval needed).
At 8:22 PM, the motion to adjourn was made and approved.
Next meeting is February 26th.
Respectfully Submitted,
Paul Villwock
