The December 22, 2020 meeting was called to order by President Jason Ollanketo at 7:40 PM at Tanner’s Bar and Grill.  The December minutes were read by Paul Villwock.  A motion was made to accept the meeting minutes as corrected by Debbie Beyer and seconded by Marcie Conklin.  Minutes were accepted.

Treasurer’s Report  

The Treasurer’s report was read by Treasurer Lisa Breu and accepted with a motion by Jeff Miller and seconded by Paul Villwock with the following ending balances.

• There are clubs with outstanding due, please remind you club to pay their dues.

Director’s Report 

• There are clubs that need to submit various information to the county.  Please remind your club to all the needed information to the county.
• SNARS – Need to enter work performed on a timely basis.  Reduces errors and keeps tabs on the budget and gets clubs paid on a timely basis.  If an entry is not accepted are the clubs notified, go back in and check to see what is approved and what is rejected.
• Due to low interest the AWSC Winter Director’s Meeting has been canceled.  The Spring Convention & Workshop has been canceled as well.  There may be just a Director’s Meeting with the location to be determined.
• There has been an email sent in regards to the Blue Mound asking for support.  The link in the email to fill out the survey does not week.  The link can found the DNR’s website.
• Scholarship apps due early January (7^th ).
• AWSC updates.  Update emails can be sent to all AWSC members but clubs need to call to get the option set up.
• Whole state is waiting for rideable snow
• GPS unit – The unit has arrived and Mike is working.  More details to follow.  The questions and issues discussed month have been to Mr. Neumann and the Snowmobile Recreation Council.

Trail and Grooming Report 

• Sno Pioneers had 3 signs stolen – two were new winter wheat signs.  New route rough due to tilling.
• All clubs have trails marked.   Wolff’s Pack has a small section unmarked due to tiling.

Old business

• Omro is giving back the “You Are Here Map”. (Hope to have first meeting in Jan.)
• Mike G has the new AWSC $100 raffle tickets.
• Safety Classes
  • All of the Drifter’s 23 students graduated.
  • All of the Wolf’s Pack’s 40 students graduated.
  • Alliance WebEx – About $15.00 month for any of the providers.  Any club can use it but can only have one meeting at a time.  Will get a second account if the need is there.
  • Springbrook’s trail funding request did not get approved.

New business

• Jason will submit a bill for the WebEx account he purchased for $15/month, which we are using tonight.  Let him know if your club would like to use it as he has to start the meeting.
• Mike Giese – Military Ride for Monday January 18^th. In Eagle River.  Will the alliance be willing to donate towards this?  Will happen one way or another even with COVID.  Veterans of all ages attend.
  • Motion by Paul V. to donate $100.00, second by Lisa Breu (Debbie).  Motion passed.
• Paul Kuehnl – Breakwater at the mouth of Wolf River tripled in size (wider).
• Winter Expo January 23^rd, at Payne’s Point Bar and Grill and Vinland Still and Grill.
  • Paul would like other groomers if possible.
• Paul K. has raffle tickets – $10.00.  Can win multiple times on each ticket.  Drawings for 28 days.  Your ticket goes back in.
• January meeting we elect county director and county representative.  Mike Giese and Mike Thoma are interested in staying on.
  • Mike Giese and Mike Thoma are both interested in serving in these positions.
• Berlin club had an issue with brushing and marking.  There was a big turnout one day to get things marked.  All is going well.
• Springbrook poker run.  30 stops in the book.  Books are $10.00 each.
• SnoScats gun raffle.  500 tickets, $10.00 each, 5 guns, tickets go back in.  March 16^th is the drawing.
• Poyganaires doing a penny raffle for an ice auger.  Ends when the tickets are gone.

• A motion to adjourn was made by Debbie Beyer and seconded by Mike Giese.  Motion passed.  Meeting adjourned at 8:31 pm.

Next meeting is January 26^th at Tanners Tap at 7:30 pm.
