The October 26, 2021 meeting was called to order by President Mark Bombinski at 7:35 PM at Tanner’s Bar and Grill.  The September minutes were read by Paul Villwock.  A motion was made to accept the meeting minutes and were approved as read.

Treasurer’s Report  

The Treasurer’s report was read by Treasurer Lisa Breu and accepted with a motion by Debbie Beyer and seconded by Mark Bombinski with the following ending balances.

Director’s Report 

• GPS tips – paper logbook would still be a good idea.  Don’t leave corrections blank, fill in with a good reason.  Keep old unit and set inactive – don’t delete.
• Raffle Reminder – Prizes over $6,000 need a 1091.
• Checking to see if our County has a Friend’s Group.  Friend’s Group submitted 2 more counters after the trail was back in Blue Mound’s Maser Plan.  Case is being moved from Dane to Ohio County and is being fast tracked.
• $120,000 Refund for credit card charge process – AWSC was being charged 12% instead of 2%.
• AWSC in is in good shape with 40% increase in passes compared to this time last year.  Any club with a 10% membership increase will get in a drawing.  KAOS made $7,500 at the Workshop.  There is 1.4 million not used so submittals are being reviewed.  
• The 40ft Right of Way Bill changes distance to 10 ft from State or County Highway road surface & up surface for town roads.  Passed the Senate last week and is in the House today and then to Governor’s desk.  If it passes changes made this season will be paid out next season.
• SAE came up with new method of measuring exhaust noise, 82 dB at 2500 rpm, as old, 88 dB at 4,000 RPM, was dangerous
• Need DNR Safety Instructors.  Zoom course available for new instructors.  Vaccine card required if using state property for classes.

Trail and Grooming Report 

• Town of Oshkosh is having a problem with ATVs/UTVs getting onto Lake Winnebago.  Residents complaining about being blocked by truck and trailers.  Option proposed was traveling the Wiouwash Trail ¼ mi. from Park ‘n Ride to boat landing.
• Groomer contracts were sent out by the County without being reviewed.

Old business

• Map Ads – Committee met Tues. to go over ads.  14 ad spaces left so Clubs will be getting a double ad to use up space.  Primtec knows we want proof by Nov.  and said it was possible to have them at Dec. meeting or sooner.  Paper availability will be a factor.  Graphic need by 8am on Mon. 
• By-Laws – Changes/Corrections: Reviewed & corrected.  Final draft will be emailed.

New business

• Poygainaires raffle was discussed.  Ticket sales are going well and the MXZX is still coming.
• Wolf Runners has a snowblower Raffle.  Drifters have a $2000 cash raffle
• Paul Kuehl – should we invite the Sheriff’s Dept. and Park’s Dept.? Consensus was yes.

• A motion to adjourn was made by Marcie and seconded by Debbie.  Motion passed.  Meeting adjourned after 8:35 pm.
