The October 25, 2022 meeting was called to order by President Mark Bombinski at 7:37 PM at Tanner’s Tap and Grill. The March minutes were read by Paul Villwock. A motion was made to approve the meeting minutes. Motion passed.

Director’s Report
AWSC Fall Convention – 583 attendees. Need ideas for Workshops
AWSC Trails Committee – working to take Supplemental cap of 3X rate ($100) and increase it to 5X.
ISC asked the AWSC to host the 2024 Conference – will be Jun 4,5,6th at the Green Bay Radisson
Beware of the contracts your landowners sign – Hwy 21 in Wautoma.
Beware of fiber optic lines. Many of the new lines are not buried very deep.
New state representatives will require new relationships
SNARS – Non-funded trails will need a description so they can be added. Grooming contract will be rewritten and be called Grooming & Maintenance Contract
Hospitality Rooms – They have become popular so places have limited the number of rooms. Will have drawings for host club.

Trail Closed bags – $5/ea.
Old business
Maps –Map Boards have been picked up. The QR Code still needs to be generated.
QR Code – Thinking of getting 16-24 decals, 4×4 to fit on 6×6 blazer, Scan for Winnebago County Map,
other options besides stickers. Motion made by Paul K. and seconded by Dave to spend $250 at Ripons
Graphics Signs.
Club dues of $40 are due in October per the updated By-Laws
New business
Winneconne Club – disbanded after 50 yrs. And merged with the Wolf’s Pack. The Wolf’s Pack gets the
6 miles to the east of town and the Poyganaire’s gets the trails to the west of town which is what the
respective clubs already groom. Clubs will need to meet the landowners. Respective club meetings are
the second Tues. and second Wednesday.
Groomer rates are up $8-9, groomers up $10 corresponding to the increase DOT rates. So DOT rates for
rolling is $92.05 and $8 labor. (Panning also helps build a base.)
Avalanche Training Oct. 19th 6pm at Ecklund (325 N Mall Dr.)
Drifter’s are having a DNR Snowmobile Safety Class Dec. 7th and 10th
Wolf’s Pack is having a DNR Snowmobile Safety Class in Dec., date TBD
Solar Farm will follow powerlines from Clareville to Eldorado into Fond du Lac

Springbrook – Will be raffling off a snowmobile again.

In Winnebago County, there are approximately 186 miles of snowmobile trails and over 6,600 registered snowmobiles. The Winnebago County Snowmobile Alliance (WCSA) represents the 12 snowmobile clubs throughout the county that maintain those trails.
