The October 23, 2011 meeting was called to order by President Jim Kumbier at 7:30pm at the Oshkosh Lanes. The secretary’s report was read and accepted. The treasurer’s report was read and accepted with the following balances: WCSA Checking Acct. $5,892.79, Grooming Fund Savings $626.43, WCSA Savings Acct. $6,703.07, Certificate $10,618.43 and Passbook Savings $25.15.
Mike touched based on the workshops that will be held at the AWSC Fall workshop.
Trail & Grooming: Nothing new to report, but just a reminder that all clubs should be talking to landowners and getting signs ready.
Trail Maps: Mike has a proof here for everyone to take a look at after the meeting to see if any changes need to be made. Several clubs still have not paid for their ads and there are several spots open yet if anyone knows of a business that would want to put an ad on. Everything needs to be turned into Mike by October 29, 2012. The maps should be ready by the November meeting.
Club Tax Status: The parks dept. can work with clubs that have a 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(7) status.
Reminder that all bills this season need to be faxed or mailed into the Parks Dept. (not emailed). All clubs should be filling out the forms handed out at the Sept. meeting and get them mailed back into the Parks Dept.
Web Site: Jason reported that the website should be able to go Live by our November meeting. He is working on moving over the domane name and that the total estimated cost for the website will be around 800.00 to 900.00. Once the map is set, it will be put on the website also.
Jim reported that he has a variety of signs (stop, curve arrows, farm crossing, etc…) if any club needs some, please contact Jim.
Youth Club: The Sno-Scats has a youth club again this year. If any youth are interested in joining, they will meet again on November 9, 2012 at 7:30 pm at Utica Golf Course.
Our next meeting will be on November 27, 2012.
Respectfully Submitted
