The September 27, 2022 meeting was called to order by President Mark Bombinski at 7:48 PM at Tanner’s Tap and Grill. The August minutes were read by Paul Villwock. A motion was made to approve the meeting minutes. Motion passed.

Treasurer’s Report
The Treasurer’s report was read by Treasurer Lisa Breu and accepted as read with the following ending balances. (Note: The recent CD is in a 1 yr. term. hoping for a better longer-term rate.)

Director’s Report
AWSC Fall Convention will be Oct 21-23 in Rothchild. Expanded to include the Best Western for more rooms.
AWSC wants to increase law enforcement budget from $400,000 to $800,00 for more officers and fully pay current officers as their time is being prorated. Some municipalities fund thru ticket revenue.
1.2 million sleds sold in US.
Blue Mound – Two lawsuits have been brought against DNR employees
Website updates should be ready.
Watch Legislators – election year turn over
SNARS – County deadline is May 15th. Route must be integral to trail to be funded at 50% non-grooming.
Looking into coating the snowmobile crossing in Winneconne via a grant. Need coating pricing.

Trail and Grooming Report
Winneconne Trail Pickup of mats and signs – we will continue to organize town signing, no meeting.
Old business
Maps – One Map Board to pick up. The QR Code still needs to be generated.
Fair Bartending – Good turnout, made $627 ($655 in tips)
Club dues of $40 are due in October per the updated By-Laws
Special Election for Treasurer – Lisa nominated Jason Ollanketo. Paul V motioned for a unanimous vote and Paul K seconded.
Fair display – Good turnout at the fair this year so there was plenty of traffic past the booth.
New business
Winneconne Club – disbanded after 50 yrs. And merged with the Wolf’s Pack. The Wolf’s Pack gets the 6 miles to the east of town and the Poyganaire’s gets the trails to the west of town which is what the respective clubs already groom. Clubs will need to meet the landowners. Respective club meetings are the second Tues. and second Wednesday.
Groomer rates are up $8-9, groomers up $10 corresponding to the increase DOT rates. So DOT rates for rolling is $92.05 and $8 labor. (Panning also helps build a base.)
Avalanche Training Oct. 19th 6pm at Ecklund (325 N Mall Dr.)
Drifter’s are having a DNR Snowmobile Safety Class Dec. 7th and 10th
Wolf’s Pack is having a DNR Snowmobile Safety Class in Nov., date TBD
Solar Farm will follow powerlines from Clareville to Eldorado into Fond du Lac
Raffles
Springbrook – Will be raffling off a snowmobile again.
