The September 25, 2012 meeting was call to order by President Jim Kumbier at the Oshkosh Lanes at 7:30 pm. The Secretary’s report was read and accepted. The Treasurer’s report was read and accepted with the following balances; WCSA Savings Acct. $5279.79, Grooming Fund Savings Acct. $626.28, WCSA Savings Acct. $6.701.39, Certificate $10,588.34 and Passbook Savings Acct. $25.15.
The Legislative Committee decided to wait until after the elections to go any further on the Cap/Step program.
Schwartz and Shea did say that landowners are not included in policies at this time, unless you pay the ind. $10.00 for each owner. It was said that if anything ever did happen, you are to ask (what does the State Statue say) and that is all…
Trail & Grooming: Nothing to Report
Trail Maps – Mike was out of town, so he could not give us an update. Jason did report that there are some Ads that we have not been paid for yet. There are also 6 clubs that have not yet purchased their ad yet.
Tax Exempt/Non-Profit Forms – All clubs should be working on getting their Non-Profit forms into Rob Way and if your club owns a groomer, you should have a Tax Exempt form to turn into Rob.
Bartending at the Fair – Jim thanked everyone who was able to help bartend at the fair. We received 10% of the profit for the night, which was $423.77 and another $183.00 in tips.
Website – Jason is happy with the progress being made on the website and said that it should be ready to go live in December. Jason is also looking for any “snow” pictures that anyone has to get them put on the website.
Trail Signs – Jim has ordered the signs and will bring them the meeting when they come in.
Reimbursement checks for last season should have all been mailed out, please make sure to get them cashed as soon as possible.
Club Packets are being handed out after the meeting tonight. Inside the packet you will find; grooming contracts, billing forms and a club officer/contact list.
For this year only, all bills should be mailed or faxed into the Parks Dept. instead of emailing them.
AWSC Fall Workshop will be held in Steven Point, WI on Oct. 26, 27 and 28.
Mark Weber from Liberty Mutual insurance is here tonight with some insurance information for anyone that is interested, see him after the meeting.
Rick Gudex who is running for the State Senate stopped in and talked before the meeting tonight.
